[ST LINE] 《排氣》76mm對應原廠程式,0-100,7.12秒!

關於改排氣管,
大部分的說法或實驗心得是,
太通,扭力會掉,只有尾速會增加,
所以原廠用55mm保持扭力。

改排氣管,有些人使用前面改大,後面縮管的方式保持加速度,
也有不少人改全段76mm,
日前測試一輛改全段76mm的0-100,測出是7.12秒,
測試車改進氣、排氣全段、中冷,
使用的程式則是原廠程式,
輪胎則是用街胎。
這數據,跟之前改DS的RACE+、改進排氣的狀況,成績差不多。

排氣管的細節是否可以說明一下...
是有裝觸媒段嗎 ? 是否仍有中消設計 ?

另一台對照組的排氣管設計如何 ?

有時不同人來開, 光換檔可能就差0.5秒了 !

測0-400時,
變數頗多的,
一般測試時,都會看一下輪胎的等級,
車手技術不一樣,也會有影響,
所以測試時,如果以同一車手進行測試,會比較準確。

全段76mm的排氣管,在許多ST車上都有使用,
測試車的排氣管,有觸媒,中消沒有,
透過管路走法,讓馬力增加、扭力不降,
這就跟設計有關。

There is absolutely nothing wrong with all out 76mm exhaust, Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. GGR does it, Magnex does it, Blueflame does it. Alister of GGR have 20 years + of racing experience. Do you think he would know less than "you know who"? GGR is one of the only three places in UK that has complete access to "engine cell" and in-house dyno. So, don't be fooled by anyone that tell you how magical his "T-Power" exhaust really is when it has no proof of any sort to back up the claim other than "wow, that felt really fast". Not to mention it was never developed in a proper racing development environment.

The 7.12sec 0-100 was performed on my car. The car has no weight reduction at all, 350mmx34 heavy front brakes (over 10.5kg per disk), six pot heavy calipers, 19inch heavy rims and TOYO street tires, and all host of other heavy stuff, and most important of all, complete 3inch exhaust; the run was also performed with "factory standard software" on rough roads where traction can not be maximized at all. I am confident that 6.8sec can be achieved with the exact same setting, as long as better tires or traction enviorment are in place .

will you be able to get into 5 sec with ds programs? i thought that's like the first modification for most ppl...or is there any particular reason you don't want to change the original program

That's a good question. The reason why I did not run DS is due to the fact I am planning a project involving a different turbo altogether and the modified software can not be reused. I already sold my DS to another member for that exact intend and purpose. Secondly, we needed some parameters off dyno reading on my car without software modification which is why I left it like that for while.

However, I do plan to get the GGR DS for testing purpose in the coming weeks. But like much of my other existing modifications, they will be removed and to be sold to other members eventually.
