I saw some exciting progress in supercharging our mk2 focus's duratec from
www.focaljet.com 's forum. There might be a hope for a supercharger, before there was this promising charger from rotrex (
www.rotrex.com) and it is smaller in size and has higher max. RPM.
There are many factors that prevented companies making the kits so i wont go into identitying what they are but powerworks (
http://www.powerworks.net/focusforce.html) made a prototype for our duratec but it was never made for production because it was too big and could not fit into the focus mk2.
Now! as we speak, guys at f2focus (
www.f2focus.com) are trying to put superchargers from AUSTRALIA (where I live) onto the brother car mazda 3 and if that works, 3 x focus 2.3 duratec and 2 x 2.0 duratec(S2.0 in TW) are waiting for the final test. Very promising i think, but i don;t understand why Americans bought and shipped an Australian supercharger from Australia to do it...and i don't know what company nor brand that supercharger are manufactured. i will go to Australian Ford forum to find if anyone knows about it.
I hope the test will go smoothly because i have been waiting for supercharger kit for nearly 2 yearly now and i have 2.0 AT...
